Paterson supermarket chain took its operator
Omega-97 to the Arbitrary Court of Moscow in March 2009, and demanded that outstanding debts be repaid. Sixteen lawsuits from suppliers, worth a total of RUB 24m ($752,253), have been filed against Omega-97. Paterson’s total debt in 2008 amounted to over RUB 2.2bn ($69m), according to the company’s Q4 financial statement.
