Subway opened 155 restaurants in Russia in 2011

Subway, the international catering chain, opened 155 new restaurants in Russia in 2011, twice as many as in 2010. In turn, about 210 new outlets are to appear in the country in 2012. At the end of 2011 the company operated 322 Russian restaurants in all regions except the Far Eastern Federal District.
Subway seems to be the most active fast food chain in Central and Eastern Europe at the present time. At the end of 2011 the company managed around 407 establishments in the region and in 2012 it wants its regional network to reach the 600 mark.
