Lego to open 30 stores in 2012

Lego has announced plans to open 30 new stores in Russia in 2012. At the end of 2011, the company opened two new stores in Samara (53 m²) and Ufa (71 m²), estimating a one year return on the investment. That made 39 Lego stores in Russia at the end of 2011.
Lego opened its first store in Moscow in 2009, since when it has expanded its presence to 13 cities, operating 16 stores in Moscow, eight in St. Petersburg, three in Novosibirsk, two in Yekaterinburg and Kazan, and one each in Voronezh, Krasnodar, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Surgut, Cherepovets, Samara and Ufa.
